What is your professional background?
My professional background is in finance and real estate. I am a licensed broker in the state of NC and currently work for Extended Stay America in their Real Estate Department. We are currently focusing on creating shareholder value through real estate transactions while continuing to grow our brand's footprint through franchising.
What motivated you to pursue this program?
My desire to grow as a young real estate professional motivated me to pursue the MSRE program at UNCC. While I had a foundation of finance knowledge from undergraduate school, I was looking for a program that would provide me with a more focused curriculum that would develop my skills and expand my real estate development experience.
How would you describe the M.S. in Real Estate to someone who is considering pursuing this master’s degree?
The MSRE program is focused on providing the knowledge necessary to be a successful real estate professional in today's market. The focus on real-world experience and examples furthers the knowledge you gain from the curriculum.
