Career Development

The Childress Klein Center for Real Estate and the Associate Director of Graduate Career Services for the Belk College of Business both work with current students on career development.  The Director of the Master of Science in Real Estate Program meets with each student during the fall semester to better understand their career goals, make networking connections, and provide suggestions for involvement in the real estate community.

The Center also hosts a number of short seminars and software trainings to ensure our students are well prepared in today’s real estate industry.  Students participate in professional training events in negotiations and communication skills as well as become adept in software packages including Advanced Excel, Argus, Costar, ESRI Business Analyst Online and more.
