What is your professional background?
I have worked in various consulting groups and have done financial analysis for an investment bank.
Why did you choose to pursue the M.S. in Real Estate degree at UNC Charlotte?
My family owns real estate in South Florida. My goal is to expand the family business through new investment, evaluate the possibility of value add projects for currently owned real estate and streamline property management. The MSRE degree strengthens all three areas.
What have been some of the highlights of your program experience so far?
I have strengthened my financial analysis skills through the finance classes, the financial modeling class and the RE Capital Markets class. The study abroad was enlightening and a lot of fun.
How has the MSRE program helped you advance your career?
It has strengthened my financial analysis skills which have been has been helpful in analyzing new investment opportunities.
What are your plans after graduation?
I would like to work in financial analysis as well as continue with my personal investment plans.
