What is your professional background?
Starting in project management with Samet Corporation, I developed a foundation of hands-on construction expertise working on Commercial / Industrial and Multi-family / Mixed-use Projects. Eventually transitioning into Pre-Construction with Samet prior joining The Fresh Market as a Construction Manager. While working for the specialty grocer I managed new store construction and renovation projects in the southeast region. Currently with Crescent Communities I am a Project Manager primarily focused on the in-house construction of multi-family projects in the Charlotte Market.
What were your motivations for pursing the MSRE?
Specifically, I am looking to expand my knowledge base in the real estate development process beyond construction into development and finance. This will allow me to better support and lead my project teams moving forward.
What drew you to the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate?
The reputation the MSRE program carries within the industry coupled with the curriculum and constant alumni exposure drew me to UNCC.
