State of Housing in Charlotte Summit
Join us in person or virtually at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024 for the next State of Housing in Charlotte Summit. The report will be presented by Dr. Yongqiang Chu, Director of the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate, followed by an industry panel discussion addressing topics from the report.

MSRE Seminar Series
To further our mission of using industry and community collaboration to educate and develop real estate professionals, the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate created a monthly seminar series to facilitate discussions on relevant topics. These invitation-only seminars occur in the afternoon on the third Friday of each month and include time for networking, Q&A and lunch in addition to a robust discussion on the featured topic.

About Ted Kaplan
Kaplan is the Chief Business and Innovation Officer of Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which is owned and operated by the City of Charlotte. He oversees the airport’s Business & Revenue Division, Economic & Community Affairs Division, and Innovation & Experience Division.
Kaplan joined the Aviation Department in 2009 and has served in such roles as senior assistant city attorney and Business & Revenue director. Before coming to work at the airport, Kaplan worked for four years as a commercial litigator for the Charlotte office of K&L Gates. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College, a Master’s in Public Administration, and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
