Charisma Southerland
About Charisma Southerland
Charisma Southerland currently serves as 2024 president of Canopy Realtor® Association and Canopy MLS. Originally from Chicago, Charisma fell in love with Charlotte when she attended Johnson C. Smith University and UNC Charlotte.
After graduating, she made Charlotte her home. Seeing the city grow,
compelled her into real estate, where she has been a Realtor®/broker in
both North and South Carolina for more than 20 years now. She currently
works with the Allen Tate Company.
She has served the Association and MLS since 2006 in a number of capacities, most notably as a member of the Executive Committee (2020-2022); Canopy MLS Board of Directors (2017); Canopy Realtor® Association Board of Directors (2020-2021); NC Realtors® Board of Directors (2004, 2021, 2022); and National Association of Realtors®
(NAR) Board of Directors (2021-2022).
Marcie Williams
About Marcie Williams
Marcie Williams is a highly accomplished multifamily executive with more than 30 years of experience. She is currently a Multi-Family Strategic Advisor for RKW Residential where she was formerly the CEO overseeing all aspects of property management operations, new business development and corporate initiatives.
She holds several professional designations, including Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) and Certified Property Manager (CPM®). Marcie has been deeply involved in the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA), having served on the Board of Directors, acted as Board President, and contributed significantly as a founding member of the association’s Education Foundation and Education Advisory Council. In addition to her role at RKW Residential, Marcie is an active member of the UNC Charlotte Childress Klein Center for Real Estate Advisory Board.

About Bart Hopper
With over three decades of experience in leading and developing commercial, retail, and residential real estate, Bart Hopper has had the privilege of working on remarkable projects, such as the Bank of America Corporate Center in Charlotte, including its 60-story world headquarters.
