This is the third annual State of Housing in Charlotte Report issued by the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate (CKCRE). This report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the state of housing in Charlotte and the surrounding area and to examine how the markets have changed in the year since the first report was written.
This report seeks to provide a complete overview of what happened in the region during the COVID-19 pandemic, which CKCRE considers to be from January 2020 to September 2021. CKCRE tries to provide a long-term view of the dynamics of the housing market over the last two decades, that is, from 2001 to 2020.
